Arc Welding and Field Fabrication Techniques

$495Four days of evening classes cover flux-core (FCAW) and stick (SMAW) welding, oxyacetylene cutting, types of equipment electrodes, setup and use of welding machines and torches, hand tools and safety. The instructor will go over the weld types (fillet and groove) and welding positions (flat, horizontal, overhead and vertical) required for AWS certification.
Designed for beginners and taught by experts, this course prepares you for a wide range of welding projects and gives you the skills and knowledge to choose and use the welding gear that suits you best.
Enroll if you are preparing for AWS certification or just want to build fences or gates for your home, yard, ranch etc.
This course will prepare you for the different jobs you might encounter in the field, from repair work to structural and ornamental fabrication and more. The classes also include discussion of potential career paths for students who want to make a career in this well-paid and sought-after trade. Learn from an experienced field welder what they don’t teach you at trade school, increase your earning power, and get ready to hit the job site.
