Bladesmithing 100 (summer 1)

Students meet twice a week for 2.5 hours per session on this 8-week course that introduces them to the fundamentals of bladesmithing.

Begin with shop safety and an overview of tools, and move on to basic forging techniques to create your own knife.

Students are coached on the techniques needed to forge, grind, heat treat, polish and sharpen knives.
